## CoE Automation Governance

## CLIENT’s Challenge

Our client, a University located in Virginia, was frustrated with its current internal operations and student services processes that were:

- Manual
- Repetitive
- Costly
- High risk, if not completed consistently and correctly

The university knew that their operational processes needed improvements, but they did not have the in-house expertise to strategize and implement this large effort.

## OUR APPROACH

Impact Makers’ automation and program management experts:

- Designed a multi-track program to establish an Automation Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Gathered automation use cases across the university
- Development capacity to kick start the CoE
- Created a roadmap of processes to automate
- Delivered a governance framework to ensure the CoE successful growth

## skills & tech leveraged

Center of Excellence establishment - Program Management - Process analysis - No-code technology

## THE RESULTS

Within 90 days, the University Client had gained:

- An established CoE framework
- Initial bots in testing
- A roadmap to reduce manual processes across the university
- A place for students to learn no-code technology skills

The program has become a beacon for other universities and will soon include interns and students to help them further develop critical business processes.
